Hospitality That Connects

One evening, our family gathered around the dinner table and one simple question came up: How could we make a holiday in South Tyrol even more memorable for our guests? That conversation inspired my sister Laura and her partner Tim, our Restaurant & Service Manager, to create experiences beyond the hotel.

They wanted our guests to discover not only beautiful places, but also the people behind them: families dedicated to wine, artisanal cheese and local traditions. And so, a new experience was born: discovering local producers and inspiring people who make South Tyrol so special.

Our very first outing took us to Niedrist Winery in Girlan. Johannes, a close friend of Tim, runs the family estate together with his family. During a private tour, he shared the philosophy behind the winery, gave us a glimpse into everyday life on the estate and spoke about a family tradition passed down through generations. Naturally, the afternoon ended with a tasting of the estate's exceptional wines.

Back at the hotel, guests spoke enthusiastically about the beautiful setting, the historic wine cellar and the outstanding wines. But what stayed with them most was that Laura and Tim had chosen to spend their afternoon off with them – simply for the joy of sharing the experience together.

These moments make all the difference. To us, hospitality is about bringing people together, sharing the place we call home and creating lasting memories. Because what makes a holiday in South Tyrol unforgettable isn't only the places. It's the people, the stories and that wonderful feeling of belonging. Perhaps that's the truest form of luxury.
